Despite speculations that he is already courting his leading lady Julia Montes, award-winning actor Coco Martin said he is still biding his time.
“After the debut (next month), tsaka natin makikita kung anong mangyayari," Coco said at the press conference of their upcoming movie "A Moment in Time" in ABS-CBN compound on Tuesday, February 5.
The Coco-Julia friendship blossomed when they teamed up in the hit teleserye "Walang Hanggan." But before he takes their relationship to the next level, Coco wants to be sure about their feelings for each other.

"Hindi naman (nililigawan na). Sabi ko nga, pinapakiramdaman ko muna," he added.
Coco also understands Julia will have more responsibilities once she turns 18, so he doesn't want to pressure her.
"Hindi naman direct na ligaw kasi sabi ko nga, habang bata pa siya i-enjoy niya lang kasi kapag tumungtong na siya ng 18, alam ko na iyon na ang pagpasok niya sa mas seryosong buhay, kung papalarin ay king saan mapupunta ang aming pagsasama."

"Marami kaming pareho. Siya rin yung nagtataguyod sa pamilya niya. Iyon ang mga nagustuhan ko sa kanya," he replied.

At the press conference, Julia herself asked Coco to escort her in her debut.
"Nagi-expect rin ako, kung sakaling hindi, masasaktan rin ako. Siyempre kapag escort ibig sabihin may espesyal na paghanga," he said.
"A Moment in Time," their first movie together, casts Coco and Julia as a couple whose past comes back to haunt them.The movie, which opens in cinemas on Wednesday, Feb. 13, also stars Gabby Concepcion, Cherie Gil, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Ella Cruz and Joseph Marco.
