Designer Joey Rodolfo ends 30-year history with Tommy Bahama
Sportswear designer Joey Rodolfo, who, with the help of his design team, created the Relax division of Tommy Bahama and developed pieces for the international markets, has ended his 30-year history with the brand.
Relax by Tommy Bahama caught the eye of younger customers, expanding the brand's influence, and now makes up a great portion of the business, according to a press release.
Rodolfo served as Senior Vice President of Men's Design for more than 10 years and helped re-position the brand, according to a press release.
His own brands include Bench Company, Cutter & Buck, Resort Two and JR 1879, and he has plans are in the works for another venture.
Rodolfo was selected by US Team Captain Curtis Strange to design the uniforms for the 2001 Ryder Cup.
