Disney dominates worldwide box office

The "Avengers: Age of Ultron" came in on top of the worldwide box office report, earning $66.7 million dollars.

Having grossed $860 million dollars, which includes $210 million in China, which is significant since it just recently opened there on May 12, according to Rentrak's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian.

Warner Bros. Mad Max: Fury Road was a close second, earning $62.1 million dollars having crossed the $100 million dollar mark during the weeks, says Dergarabedian.

Although in third position with $58.9 million, Disney's ‘Tomorrowland' has produced disappointing results on home turf, for the US box office saw its most sluggish performance over the Memorial Day holiday weekend since 2001.

Here are the top 12 movies in the worldwide box office:
