'Divergent Series: Insurgent' tops worldwide box office

Hollywood says goodbye to an actress and an era as silent film star Jean Darling dies

Science fiction adventure film "Insurgent," directed by Robert Schwentke, emerged on top of the box office rankings for last week, grossing more than 101,025,000, according to Rentrak.

Walt Disney's "Cinderella" settled for second best in the worldwide rankings, earning more than $75,592,000.

A far-reaching third place, having garnered $19,200,000 worldwide, is 3D animated comedy "Home," followed closely by "Taken 3," starring Liam Neeson.

Next in the rankings are "Lost And Love," starring Andy Lau, about the scourge of child trafficking in China, and Matthew Vaughn's "Kingsman: The Secret Service."
