Dr. Dre's legendary 'Chronic' album makes exclusive streaming debut on Apple Music

US rapper Dr. Dre

Voted one of the '500 Greatest Albums of All Time' by Rolling Stone magazine, Dr. Dre's album "Chronic" will be exclusively available on Apple Music from June 30, the publication reports.

The subject of much legal dispute over the last 16 years, Dr Dre’s lauded album "Chronic" joins Taylor Swift’s "1989" to be exclusively available for streaming on Apple Music, once it re-launches on June 30.

The music streaming service will be released alongside the iOS 8.4 update, and will be followed shortly after by Apple’s radio station Beats 1.

Fans were surprised when "Chronic" was not originally available on Apple, nor its competitors’ applications, an absence which could be explained by the album's numerous legal rights issues. Now, it seems, their wait has finally come to an end.
