Enchong Dee Gets ‘Best Birthday Ever’ With Ellen DeGeneres

MANILA, Philippines - It's indeed a happy birthday for Enchong Dee, who marked his special day sitting in the audience on the show of award-winning host Ellen DeGeneres.

The actor and champ swimmer watched "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" with his celeb buddies Jason Abalos and Rayver Cruz. In his Instagram collage post showing them inside the "Ellen" studio, Enchong related the many treats he got during the taping held at the Time Warner Studios in Burbank, California last Nov. 6, a day after he turned 24.

"I won an Ellen shirt for Dancing, We won Maroon 5 tix for March 15 in staples, I got a new album of maroon 5, Ellen Hugged me for 3 seconds and greeted me Happy Birthday kahit walang picture masaya na ko to the Ginormous level, and the best part we have a sure seat for December 17 show for 12 days of giveaways on Ellen again:) ahhhhhh!!!! #bestbirthdayever," he tweeted.

He, Jason, and Rayver had their few seconds of international fame, too. Along with other audience members, they were seen dancing in the beginning of the show, which reportedly aired Tuesday in the US. Ellen even high-fived Enchong at one point.

Apparently, Enchong scored VIP seats on "Ellen" thanks to a fairy godmother of sorts, Mindy Casimiro, Ellen's famous Filipino housekeeper who also had her own segment on the show.

In an earlier Instagram post, Enchong posted screenshots of Mindy's messages, as well as the ticket confirmation from the "Ellen" team.

"Grabe! Ang saya ko! VIP tickets for Ellen Degeneres Show:) I cant put into words how happy I am... Im lucky and blessed to have good-hearted people around me:)," he said.

Enchong is still bursting with happiness and gratitude as seen in his latest post on the popular social image-sharing site. He hopes that his Creator will continuously use him "as your instrument to share your goodness and your love" and "become a better model of words."

The "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" star flew to the US recently together with other ABS-CBN artists for some shows in celebration of Star Magic's (its talent management arm) 20th anniversary.
