MANILA, Philippines - Enchong Dee is unperturbed over the onscreen sweetness of his ladylove Julia Montes and leading man Coco Martin that they showed in their wedding scenes on ''Walang Hanggan.''
For Enchong, who was interviewed on ''Umagang Kay Ganda,'' Wednesday, ''ang nakikita ko kasi si Daniel at Katerina eh, hindi naman si Coco at Julia,'' referring to their respective characters on the show who tied the knot in a grand, P3-million ceremony shot at the San Agustin Church in Intramuros. The said ''Walang Hanggan'' episode was aired Oct. 15.
The actor and champ swimmer is happy with his growing closeness with Julia, as they don't only communicate through call and text, but ''ngayon magkausap na kami nang harapan,'' he added.
Enchong has been vocal about his romantic intentions for the pretty actress, whom he plans to court when she turns 18 in March next year. And as an apparent vow of commitment to the 17-year-old rising star, Enchong has decided to not date other girls.
Like Julia, Enchong has his hands full with work, starring in the Kapamilya primetime series ''Ina, Kapatid, Anak,'' the Metro Manila Film Festival entry ''The Strangers,'' and another dark comedy film with Eugene Domingo, Jake Cuenca, and Empress.
Thus, it's not surprising that Enchong could only wish for the best of health for his 24th birthday on Nov. 5.
''Basta ayoko lang magkasakit. Kasi nararamdaman ko na parang paunti-unti na humihina ako,'' he confessed.
