EXO postponed their new mini-album release date

EXO decided to postpone their new mini-album release date.

On April 18th, SM Entertainment announced the postponement of EXO's new mini-album release through the official websites of SMTOWN and EXO.

A representative of SM Entertainment said, "All of our staffs and artists are feeling largely grieving for all of the victims of the ferry accident."

The representative went on, "After a long discussion about plans for EXO's comeback, we decided to postpone the release of their new mini-album, 'Overdose.'"

The representative added, "We decided such a decision, wishing for the missing people's safe return, and we hope the fans would leniently understand our decision. We'd like to express a profound gratitude for all the love and supports for EXO, and we will make a new announcement as soon as the new comeback date gets decided."

Meanwhile, EXO held their comeback showcase on April 15th at Seoul Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, and they were going to make their first comeback performance during April 18th broadcast of KBS 2TV 'Music Bank.' However, they cancelled all of their comeback promotion schedules after the ferry accident, which took place on April 16th.
