Filipinos send messages to Shamcey Supsup
Will Shamcey Supsup bag the Miss Universe 2011 title?
This is the question that is lingering on the minds of many Filipinos before the competition.
Rep. Angelo Palmones says, “I have no doubt that she is going to make it” while Robby thinks that Supsup will be ‘this generation’s Miss Universe."
Ember firmly believes in the capabilities of Shamcey, “Galingan mo sa lahat. Alam ko kaya mo yun, astig” while Joey sends an advance congratulatory greeting, “Kayang kaya mo yan. Mananalo ka. Alam ko naman na beauty and brains ka.”
There are also Filipinos who can’t help but send words of advice to Ms. Shamcey Supsup. Princes says, “Galingan na lang nya sa question and answer portion” while Ted asks Supsup ‘to relax and be confident.’
However, it was Batangas governor Vilma Santos-Recto, who sums up everything when she says that the most important thing for Shamcey is just to be herself. “At the end of the day, manalo, matalo, basta ginawa mo ang magagawa mo, panalo ka pa rin. So to you Ms. Supsup, good luck! And of course our advance congratulations.”
