Follow Neil Perez’s journey to Mister International through selfies

After a few losses by our Filipina bets, who would’ve thought the country’s saving grace in the global pageant would be this hot guy specializing on bombs and explosives?

Neil Perez, known to many as “poging pulis,” waved the flag in South Korea at the time when the Philippines is reeling from the death of some of his comrades in the police force.

The 29-year-old policeman from the PNP Aviation Security Group made his countrymen’s hearts melt when photos of his winning moment indicates he was crying like a baby over a victory he dedicated to our fallen heroes.

And what better way to celebrate his win than feasting on his selfies? This dude made sure every step of the competition was documented—-and no one’s complaining. Take a look.

That random selfie.

But of course, lastly, the mandatory mirror selfie in the hotel room.
