Forever 21's Barbie collection on sale this week
The latest fashion icon to share her style tips on Instagram, Barbie isn't stopping at social networks. Thanks to a tie-up with Forever 21, the famous doll wants to make her way into your closet.
From September 5, Barbie fans will find several pieces with the doll's name and face within the fast fashion chain's "Barbie Heart Forever 21" collection.
Naturally, the line includes plenty of pink, but there are also graphic prints in grey or black and white. There are swimsuits, T-shirts, tanks and even a few accessories such as hair brushes, makeup bags and pocket mirrors.
Some pieces feature the iconic Barbie logo, while others pay a slightly cheeky tribute to the doll. One tank top, for example, has a photo of three Barbie dolls and the caption, "I woke up like this," echoing the popular hashtag.
The Barbie Heart Forever 21 collection goes on sale from September 5 in Forever 21 stores and at the brand's website.
