Former beauty queen shot in Bulacan
Beauty queen-turned-councilor Dianne Cervantes was shot in the head Wednesday.
According to an ABS-CBN news report, Dianne was riding a motorcycle at Barangay San Isidro, Paombong, Bulacan when the gunman shot her. The report also said that Dianne and her staff, Romelita Raymundo came from an event at the municipal hall when the shooting occurred.
The gunman reportedly shot Dianne at close range, seemingly making sure the bullet hits its target.
Delicate operation
Former beauty queen Joyce Ann Burton Titular wrote in her blog, adventuresofabeautyqueen, said that Lorraine Schuck of the Miss Earth franchise told her that Cervantes will go under the knife at the UST Hospital on March 26 to remove the three bullets in her head.
Titular described the operation as a delicate one.
“The operation will be a delicate one but if the doctors can do surgery on her then it must mean that the bullets are in reachable areas and for this blogger it means we have hope that she will survive," Titular said in her blog.
