The French Laundry readies for April reopening
High-profile Californian restaurant The French Laundry is set to reopen on April 7.
Chef Thomas Keller closed the three-Michelin-starred restaurant late December for extensive renovations to its kitchens and surrounding property.
During its hibernation, the restauranteur then opened a pop-up at the Silverado Resort & Spa, Ad Lib, and brought The French Laundry's staff with him.
Though originally intended as a temporary measure, Ad Lib's tenure was then extended to cover Silverado's accommodation of the PGA Tour Frys.com Open golf tournament in October.
Reservations have already opened via OpenTable, reports Eater, ahead of the projected April 7 reopening; on-site photos posted to The French Laundry's Twitter account show that preparations are still ongoing.
