G-Dragon and fans donate funds toward the construction of a children′s hospital

G-Dragon and his fans joined forces to do a really good deed.

On December 7, the Purme Foundation announced that "G-Dragon and G-Dragon′s fan community Kwon Ji Yong Supporters donated 10.95 million won."



G-Dragon transferred 3.65 million won each to two bank accounts in support of the ′10,000 Won Miracle′. Members of Kwon Ji Yong Supporters also donated 3.65 million won.

G-Dragon said, "It would be a very happy thing to have my small helping hand give hope to children. I hope more people will come to cross the threshold of donating, and start to learn the happiness of sharing with others."

The 10,000 Won Miracle is a donation movement hosted by singer Sean and the Purme Foundation to help construct a rehabilitation hospital for mentally and physically challenged children in Mapo. It involves donating 10,000 won a day for a year, in total making up 3.65 million won. Psy, Cha In Pyo, Choi Soo Jong, professor Seo Kyoung Duk and writer Shin Kyung Sook have joined so far.
