He may have temporarily left local showbiz to study in the US, but Gabriel "Gab" Valenciano is making waves online with his viral "Super Selfie" videos.

Gab has posted 11 videos in his official YouTube account, six of which are his "Super Selfie" videos, while the rest are song covers and remixes.

Among his "Super Selfie" videos, the "Tune Squad" is the most popular with over 724,000 hits in four days. The 16-second video uploaded on September 20 shows Gab doing funny random things and energetically dancing to the song of Quad City DJ’s "Space Jam," which Gab remixed for the video.

The short video features Gab in a garage, crazily jumping around, twerking, crawling under the car, jumping with a broom stick, dribbling a ball, opening an umbrella, riding a trolley and being hit by a ball on the face at the end of the video.

Many international sites have already featured Gab’s "Super Selfie" videos. His other videos feature him doing Batman and Michael Jackson impersonations. Gab also did the remixes of the songs he used in the videos.

Gab feels overwhelmed with the positive and huge response on his "Super Selfie: Tune Squad" video. In his Instagram account, Gab thanked everyone and mentioned that he gets to show his real self in the videos he posted.

"The past four days have been quite insane. I still have no idea how this happened. My lunacy is affecting the world apparently. Thank you so much everyone, really. You get to see who I really am through these videos.#finally Hahaha much love and more to come!#superselfiesaturday."

Local celebrities, including Jodi Sta. Maria, Jericho Rosales and Sam Concepcion, have also been tweeting Gab to congratulate him.
