Gerald Anderson seemed to have practically admitted his relationship with Maja Salvador, who posted Instagram photos of them scuba diving together a week ago.  Gerald also reportedly hired a chopper to take him and Maja on a romantic  Valentine’s date in Tagaytay.

The Jollibee endorser was cornered at the fast food chain’s Greenmeadows branch, where he himself went behind the counter and served customers on Tuesday, April 9.

Gerald compared himself to Jollibee’s latest beverage, the Flip Float,  because he is  floating with happiness.

“I’m just blessed,” he smiled. “Wala akong karapatang magreklamo. Maraming taong mas marami pang problema sa akin.”

Dancing in the rain

This positive thinker said he learned how to cope with showbiz intrigues by “dancing in the rain.”

“There’s always a rainbow after the storm.  Just be strong, stay strong and be happy,” the award-winning actor added.

Gerald, by now a veteran of showbiz intrigues,  coped by keeping in mind that at the end of the day,  it’s still his life and no one else’s.

“Hindi na ako gaano naapektuhan ngayon.Gusto ko lang noon, mapasaya ang lahat. Pero hindi lahat gusto sa ‘yo.  Once tanggap mo yon, mas luluwag ang buhay mo. I learned that the hard way,” Gerald explains.

Gerald sees himself “ready to settle down”  five years from now, or when he turns 29.  He didn’t say though, if  Maja will be his bride.

“Malayo pa yon. Gusto ko munang magpatayo ng iba pang bahay, ng negosyo, siguro isang Jollibee branch sa village namin sa  Gensan (General Santos City in Mindanao, where his family comes from).”

Meanwhile, Gerald is looking forward to the airing of the teleserye “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin” and his action movie “On the Job” with Piolo Pascual.
