Gerald tells Sarah, ‘Don’t be afraid to love again’

This is Gerald Anderson’s advice to Sarah Geronimo, whose love life seems to be taking a back seat to her career.

Gerald, who plays opposite Sarah in the forthcoming movie, “Won’t Last a Day” said in an interview in “The Buzz” Sunday, Nov. 13, “Siyempre, alam naman din natin ang sitwasyon niya. Marami rin siyang napagdaanan.”

Sarah was linked previously to Rayver Cruz.

Focusing on career

In a separate earlier interview with Sarah in “The Buzz,” she said that she has moved on from her previous relationship but is now focusing more on her career than her love life.

But Gerald said Sarah should give love a second chance and “huwag siyang masyadong matakot pumasok sa isang relationship.”

He said, “You learn sa bawa’t relationship na nangyayari sa iyo. Pag galing ka sa isang relationship, nagwu-work naman, pero hindi nagla-last. Kung ano ang maganda at kung ano yung pangit. Siyempre, dala-dala mo pa rin (yung experience)."

Special Christmas?

When asked if Sarah will be the one who can make his Christmas more special, “May isang buwan pa naman, tingnan natin,” Gerald said, smiling.

The young actor may not be in a relationship now, but he shared that he gets much love and support from his friends and family. Gerald recently held a basketball charity event which was supported by his friends from Star Magic and “ASAP Rocks.”

Still, he clarified, "Yung pinaka-support system is myself kasi kahit anong tulong or explanation ang gagawin sa iyo, kung hindi ka rin sure sa ginagawa mo, wala rin mangyayari sa iyo."

Meanwhile, to Xian Lim, Kim Chiu’s new screen partner, Gerald said, "Alagaan mo si Kim. I mean, you know, he's a very lucky guy para makasama niya si Kim as an actress and as a love team and as a person.”
