Glastonbury Festival organizer Emily Eavis has addressed rumours regarding the upcoming last headliner announcement.

Following an impromptu revelation by her father Michael Eavis that the identity of the final Glastonbury headliner would be revealed on June 1 and could be a double act by "two British bands" (Daily Mail), Emily Eavis has taken to Twitter to clarify.

She tweeted: "ah,don't get confused by the two bands together story! We are announcing one band as headliner but a great penultimate too."

Eavis kept quiet, though, regarding other whispers that Coldplay's Chris Martin might be involved (via NME).

The headliners confirmed for the festival to date are the Foo Fighters and Kanye West.

The event, which has also net artists including Alt-J, Florence and The Machine, Pharrell Williams, Hozier, Lionel Richie and The Chemical Brothers to perform, is due to take place on Wednesday, June 24 to Sunday, June 28, 2015.
