GMA 7 releases teleserye line-up for the first quarter of 2012

BY JAMIE ORTEGA GMA-7 is set to launch a string of all-original afternoon programs for the first quarter of 2012. Three shows will premiere on primetime, including Legacy, which will have its pilot episode on January 16. The drama series will be topbilled by Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe, Sid Lucero, and Geoff Eigenmann. The second teleserye is Britera, which will air on February 6, starring Dennis Trillo, Glaiza De Castro, and Angelika Cruz. The third and final drama series set to invade primetime is My Beloved, starring real-life couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, to be shot in high-definition technology. In the series, Dingdong portrays an angel who falls in love with a mortal woman played by Marian. It marks the first time that the two will work on a show with an original script, their past TV projects being adaptations of various Koreanovelas and telenovelas. For their afternoon line-up GMA has Alice Bungisngis and Her Wonder Walis set to air on February 6 and starring Bea Binene, Jake Vargas, Derrick Monasterio, and Lexi Fernandez. Another show will premiere on the same date, Broken Vow, starring Luis Alandy, Bianca King, and Gabby Eigenmann. A week after, on February 13, The Good Daughter, topbilled by Kylie Padilla and Rocco Nacino will have its pilot episode. Their final new show for the month of February is Hiram Na Puso starring Kris Bernal, Polo Ravales, Bela Padilla and Mark Herras. Kapuso fans everywhere certainly have a lot of things to look forward to!
