Grohl: McCartney's magical

Dave Grohl thinks Sir Paul McCartney is simply "magical".

The Foo Fighters musician and the two surviving members of Nirvana teamed up with Paul for a performance at the 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert in New York City last year.

Dave recalls having a moment of epiphany as he and his Nirvana groupmates Pat Smear and Krist Novoselic prepared for the show with Paul.

"After a couple minutes it dawned on me that this is the first time that Pat and Krist and I have written a song since Kurt [Cobain] died, and Paul was there too," he told Access Hollywood.

"So it was one of the most magical experiences in my life. There's the birth of my children, there's the wedding, there's some beautiful moments in my life, but can you f**king imagine?"

Nirvana disbanded after lead singer Kurt died in 1994 and Dave has since moved on to achieve great success with his new rock group Foo Fighters.

The prolific musician is known as a show-stopper, and Dave admits he had a feeling he would take down the house at the CMAs in November during his guest performance with the Zac Brown Band.

"I actually told my wife before I went there, I'm like 'Hey Babe, I'm gonna go to the CMAs. I'm gonna steal the f**king show,'" he laughed.

Dave is also a documentary filmmaker and his new feature Sound City will reach theatres early next year.

Beyonce’s #Flawless image is embroiled in controversy once again. On Wednesday, a web site called The Beyonce World leaked 224 allegedly raw photos of the musician. The images showed Bey in full makeup for the 2013 L’Oreal ad campaign — but with the kinds of “imperfections” we all have — beauty marks, bumps, creases. In the wake of Cindy Crawford’s unretouched photos, the images have been praised by critics of a beauty industry that sets impossibly high standards, standards that Queen Bey …
