Han Hye Jin and Brown Eyed Soul′s Naul End Their Nine-Year-Long Relationship
Han Hye Jin and Naul, one of the oldest couples in showbiz, decided to go their separate ways after putting an end to their long nine-year relationship.
A rep from Han Hye Jin′s agency told enews on December 21, "It is true that Han Hye Jin and Naul have broken up. We′re not sure on when they separated."
The official added, "Because it was hard for them to meet even once in a month [because of their busy schedules], they drifted apart. We believe they came to naturally go their separate ways as they started to meet each other less and less."
"The most we can do is help Han Hye Jin and Naul take care of any loose ends without getting hurt. We′re sad we have to deliver such news," the official finished.
A rep from Naul′s agency Santa Music also acknowledged the breakup.
The rep said, "It is true that [Naul] broke up with Han Hye Jin. We don′t have anything more to say because it′s a part of the artist′s personal life."
The news may not seem so sudden for some, as many signs showed early on that the couple had been slowly drifting apart.
In an interview with press in mid-September, Naul had said that he′s "getting along well with Han Hye Jin," but had added that he has "no plans of getting married."
On the July 16 broadcast of SBS′ Healing Camp, Han Hye Jin had also complained that her lover Naul had changed when it came to expressing his love.
Han Hye Jin and Naul first came to enter their relationship through their religious ties. From 2003 they announced that they were a couple, and garnered support from fans for nearly 10 years. Rumors even flew in December 2007 that the couple would be getting married, as Naul started serving his military duties as a public service worker, but ultimately the couple chose instead to put their relationship to an end.
