Yes, it's free: Be part of the Yahoo Celebrity Awards Night

There are three ways fans can enjoy the Yahoo Celebrity Awards even more: thousands of free tickets to the awards night, a P150 taxi refund when they show up at the Mall of Asia Arena show on July 18, and a chance for a VIP treatement at the awards show.

Like in the past years, fans can avail of the tickets for free. Get two tickets by presenting any valid ID at SM Tickets outlets.

Grab Taxi, meanwhile, will reward its app users attending the glitzy event on July 18. Just book a cab at the taxi app when you head to the Mall of Asia Arena. You will then see a Grab Taxi booth at the venue. Just approach the booth to get your P150 refund.

If you want VIP treatment, you may also join this and be on your way to becoming a Super Fan and win awesome prizes.

The public has seen a star-studded awards show over the past years--and this year's won't be any different.

Some of the biggest names in Philippine entertainment and sports are part of the 140 nominees vying for 28 categories at the biggest fan-driven awards in the country.

Scrambling for votes

Fans of celebrity nominees have been "power voting" since the poll opened last June 4. And as the voting closes on July 12, more fans want their votes count all for their idols.

Yahoo Philippines launched this year's Celebrity Awards in a well-attended event where Marian Rivera was hailed Media Magnet of the Year, the same special award given to Charice back in 2013.

Yahoo On the Road

MANILA, Philippines - The purple double decker bus of Yahoo Philippines invades the Lyceum University of the Philippines grounds during the Yahoo Philippines On the Road Campus Tour, in Manila, on 20 June 2014. The Lyceum leg of the campus concert tour featured Love Radio DJ's Lyka Barista and Christine Dera, local bands Chocolate Grass and Sponge Cola, hosted by Joyce Pring, aims to promote the upcoming Yahoo Celebrity Awards on July 18 to be held at the MOA Arena. The Philippines is also the latest country where the Internet giant launched Yahoo On the Road.

The purple bus has so far toured Polytechnic University of the Philippines (June 9) and Lyceum of the Philippines University (June 20), and another Manila-based campus (Far Eastern University) on Friday (July 4).

The "concert on wheels" saw popular Pinoy bands Rocksteddy and Sponge Cola, storming the said universities, alongside performances from Brisom, Chocolate Grass and Yolanda Moon. The three indie bands, along with Cheats and Jeffrey Zulueta experience, are nominees at the Yahoo Celebrity Awards' Emerging Band of the Year.

Yahoo On the Road also made a stopover at local Sunday variety shows, GMA's Sunday All Stars (June 22) and ABS-CBN's ASAP (June 29) to interview some of the networks' biggest celebrities nominated at the Celebrity Awards.
