‘Infinity Challenge’ to Continue with Six Members for Now

MBC’s Infinity Challenge released an official statement on Gil’s leave of the show.

Through a press release on April 23, Infinity Challenge stated, “First of all, we’d like put our heads down to apologize to all of our viewers. We apologize for causing you to worry when one of the Infinity Challenge members, Gil, was caught drinking and driving on April 23.

It continued, “We are deeply repenting as we think of how disappointed you must have been.”

About Gil leaving, it stated, “Without excuses, Gil is currently repenting for drinking and driving and wants to apologize to all citizens. He also requested to leave the show, as he would like to take some time for self-reflection. Therefore, the production team decided to accept his request and continue filming with just six members for awhile,” and revealed that it will be editing Gil out as much as possible from what they have already filmed.

In closing, Infinity Challenge stated, “We would like to apologize once more for causing you to worry and we will try to become more mature as we remind ourselves how much love and support we’ve received from all of our viewers.”
