Is Jinri the next Sandara?

Jinri Park is #13 in this year's FHM 100 Sexiest Women's list, 8 notches higher from her 21st finish last year.

Korean model, TV and radio personality Jinri Park is leaving the Philippines to undergo training in acting and hosting in South Korea.

Jinri informed her followers on Instagram on Sunday, September 15, that she is leaving for Korea in October, but she's not “quitting showbiz all in all.”

Jinri hosts a show in RX 93.1 and is part of the Kapuso sitcom “Vampire Ang Daddy Ko.” She has graced the covers of various magazines and has released two photo books.

“I’ve always want to better my skills in acting and hosting and this great opportunity came and I decided to take it. I’m leaving Manila next month and would like to just thank all the Jinjas (her fans) for the support and love. I would love for you guys to keep supporting me even if I’m may not be here,” Jinri posted.

In South Korea, aspiring artists go through rigorous training before their respective careers are launched. Sandara Park, who started her showbiz career in the Philippines, trained under YG Entertainment for years before she debuted as part of the 2ne1 girl group.

Jinri told Yahoo! Philippines OMG in a separate interview that she idolizes Sandara.

“I look up to Sandara because she’s the first one to bring the K-pop scene here. She’s one of my idols. I look up to people who paved way for me. Without them, people wouldn’t appreciate me as much.”
