Hmmm. Something looks familiar. Katy Perry's new music video "Roar" seems to show one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Philippines - The Taal Volcano.

According to Access Hollywood, Katy's newest single from the album Prism "has exceeded sales expectations."  As of posting time, the much anticipated "Roar" video, which was published on September 5 via YouTube already has 1,920,065 hits.

Now, contrary to her MTV Video Music Awards boxing-themed performance, the music video revolves around a Six Days and Seven Nights kind of plot (airplane crashes into a tropical island, you know, the works) only this time, Katy's vain "guy" gets attacked by a tiger. Katy's left to fend for herself and becomes friends with the animals - yep, your guess is as good as mine - female version of Tarzan perhaps? Castaway? Lost?

So anyway, in the video, at 2:28 and 2:39 seconds, Katy looks to the vast horizon. Now here's the interesting part. Do you see what I see? Yup, I think that's the Taal Volcano right there.

If you don't believe me, here's the proof:
