Is Rhian Ramos moving out of the family home?

The keys are already with Rhian Ramos now that she officially owns her condo unit at the Infinity Towers located at The Fort.

So is the 21-year old actress and TV host leaving home to live independently?

At the moment, Rhian’s answer is no. She said that her condo is not yet furnished and finished to her liking. She also knows that having her condo done by a professional interior designer costs a lot. And even if she does her own decorating, she knows it’s still going to be expensive.

“I don’t know if I’m able to stay there full-time because I want to be able to be with my mom and my sister. I think it would be too much of a big move kapag nag-move out na ako fully,” shared Rhian.

Rhian lives in Alabang with her mom and sister.  She works at GMA Network in Quezon City, on the opposite end of the city. Her condo is located midway.

“I think that would be more convenient because puwede akong matulog du’n after work,” she said. “Sometimes I like to go there kahit wala pang laman ang condo. I like to go there and look out the window. Muni-muni tapos I’ll just stay in the room, I look around and dream about kung ano ang ilalagay ko dito.”

Knowing how much it costs to furnish and maintain a condo is one of the reasons Rhian is working harder nowadays. She has just finished GMA Films’ “The Road” and is already working on a new TV series with the working title, “Sundo.”

Angel of death

In “Sundo,” she plays a mortal  in a love triangle between another mortal played by Mikael Daez and an Angel of Death played by Dingdong Dantes.

“It is not horror but more of a drama. It is a love story na medyo may fantasy kasi kailangang ipakita kung ano mundo ng mga Angel of Death. Yung isang Angel of Death na-in-love sa akin so when it was my time, di niya ako kayang sunduin or patayin,” explained Rhian.

The actress is also excited about the said project because it reunites her with Dingdong Dantes with whom she worked in the Filipino version of “Stairway to Heaven.”

She said “Sundo” is slated to air in January 2012.

Feeling insecure

She will also appear in “The Road,” a horror story that will screen on Nov. 30.  Directed by Yam Laranas, it is Rhian’s third horror movie following “Ouija” in 2007 and “Sundo” in 2009.

“I love working with Yam because he is so cool,” she said. “And he tells you when you do something right. This was good for me because I was so insecure working in this movie. Every time na may gagawin akong eksena, feeling ko ang pangit-pangit ng ginawa ko. So, nakita niya siguro sa akin yun na parang kailangan ko ng cheering-up,” she said.

Why does she feel insecure?

“Hindi ko talaga alam. But an emotion is a very intimate thing to share. Iba naman siya kung magmo-model ka, magpapaganda ka whatever. Kapag emotions na ang pinag-uusapan, they always come from a real place. Laging kailangang may pinaghuhugutan ka. So when you put it out there it has to look real. When no one believes it parang niloloko mo lang ang mga tao. That’s why feeling ko I have to be truthful,” she replied.

"The Road" premieres on Nov. 27 at Cinema 3 of SM Megamall.
