Jake Vargas' arm bears Bea Binene’s name
Bea Binene is now part of boyfriend Jake Vargas's body. The young actor proved how deep his love is for Bea by having her name permanently tattooed on his lower arm.
“Pinagawa ko ito last March,” he said in an interview on the Yahoo Bus which visited the GMA 7’s noontime show “Sunday All Stars” last Sunday, June 22.
The only other person whose name is tattoed on Jake’s body (his back) is his late mother, so this show’s just how special Bea is to the young actor.
Gesture of love
Bea knew all about Jake’s plans for the tattoo. But she couldn’t help but gasp when she saw how prominent the size of her name is.
“Nalakihan siya, pero na-appreciate naman nya,” Jake reveals.
Bea nods and adds, “At pula pa (referring to the color of the tattoo)!”
But the singer-actress will not copy her boyfriend’s gesture of love because of her mom, who frowns on having her daughter tattoed.
That’s just fine with Jake, who gets along well with Carina, Bea’s mom.
Problem with pride
The relationship, also known as JhaBea, Yahoo Celebrity 2014 Celebrity Couple of the Year nominee, is so strong, Jake believes nothing can destroy it.
“Hindi ko na nafor-foresee na magbebrak apart kami. Alam naman naming matibay kami. May respeto at trust kami sa isa’t isa. Hindi lang maiiwasan na mag negative na lumalabas.”
Of course, Jake and Bea argue with each other like normal couples do, especially when pride rears its ugly head.
“Problema sa ‘min, pareho kaming ma pride. Minsan, hindi namin alam kung sino ang mas bababa sa min,” Bea admits.
