James Thankful For Renewed Friendship With Kris

MANILA, Philippines - Basketball star James Yap is spending Christmas this year far from his beloved son James Jr., more popularly known as Bimby.

"Aalis sila. Wala sila dito. Ako lang mag-isa," Yap confirmed via a report on ABS-CBN News

Apparently the presidential nephew will be heading off to Europe with his mother, Kris Aquino, and will be staying there until the first week of 2013.

Yap said that Aquino had only been too gracious in allowing him time to visit their son. The popular cager even lauds his ex-wife for their renewed friendship.

"We're good friends right now. Nagdyo-joke kami nang husto," he related. "Nakakapag-usap kami nang hindi na masyadong seryoso, 'yung casual. 'Yun ang magandang sitwasyon namin."

Yap revealed that he and Aquino sometimes even talk about their respective love lives.

"Kaya okay talaga 'yung samahan naming," he insisted.

Only last November, the ex-couple got into a public spat of sorts after Yap called Aquino "fat," a fact the latter herself revealed on "Kris TV" in November. According to Aquino, he also demanded that she refrain from talking about him and his love life on her show.

Yap is uncertain as to how they were able to overcome their differences following the annulment of their marriage early this year.

"Masyadong seryoso before. Siguro takot pa... Ewan ko, hindi ko alam," he said.

Yap has no definite plan as yet for the holidays, intimating that he'd probably try and visit relatives and friends in Negros Occidental-that is, if he finds time.

"Actually, may game [pa] ako sa Christmas," he said.

Beyonce’s #Flawless image is embroiled in controversy once again. On Wednesday, a web site called The Beyonce World leaked 224 allegedly raw photos of the musician. In the wake of Cindy Crawford’s unretouched photos, the images have been praised by critics of a beauty industry that sets impossibly high standards, standards that Queen Bey …
