Julia, Enrique open to real-life romance
Kapamilya's newest love team Julia Barretto and Enrique Gil are not dismissing the idea of a real-life romance because they like each other.
"Anything is possible. We can't say right now. But why not? He's a really nice guy. And I'm a nice girl also," Julia said during the press conference of her upcoming teleserye "Mirabella" on Tuesday, March 11.
The young actress appreciates how Enrique takes care of her.
"Maalaga si Quen. He's more experienced than me, so he guides me through the scenes."
Physical attraction?
Is there physical attraction between them?
"Look at that face," Julia said in jest.
Enrique is also fond of Julia, who is five years his junior.
"Maganda si Julia, mabait, masayang kasama."
Romance can wait
But a relationship can wait. For now, Julia and Enrique would rather focus on their careers and enjoy each other's company.
Julia doesn't want to pressure herself on being as good as the members of her showbiz clan (among them, aunts Gretchen Barretto and Claudine Barretto and mother Marjorie Barretto).
"How can I be as good if I have just entered (the business)? Sana bigyan ako ng oras to learn and experience."
The newbie actress already has her share of bashers, but Julia ignores them. She takes criticisms positively and gets encouragement from fans.
"With everything that's going on right now, I'd rather not focus my time and effort on anything negative. I'd rather stay positive. No time for wasted attention."
