John Lloyd denies involvement in Vhong-Cedric issue
John Lloyd Cruz was shocked when his name was dragged in the issue involving his friend Vhong Navarro and businessman Cedric Lee.
"Oo (I was surprised), kasi sensitibong kaso iyan para sa kaibigan ko," he told the media after the press conference of "Home Sweetie Home."
John Lloyd was rumored to have had an encounter with Cedric, Vina Morales' former partner.
The Kapamilya actor admits he knows Cedric because he used to see the businessman when he (John Lloyd) was still in a relationship with Vina's sister, Shaina Magdayao.
No more comment
But he refused to comment further on the Vhong-Cedric issue because their legal battle has started.
Vhong filed multiple charges against Cedric, while Deniece Cornejo has accused the actor-host of rape.
"I think it’s best na huwag na lang ako magbigay ng kahit na ano. Wala na akong dapat sabihin tungkol diyan," John Lloyd said.
He added, "Ayaw ko nang pahabain kasi it's a very sensitive issue. Ayaw ko nang magbigay ng kahit ano pang comment."
John Lloyd fully supports Vhong, especially because they both belong to the ASAP group Kanto Boys.

"Hindi naman ako nagkulang sa pagsabi sa kanya na andito kaming mga kaibigan niya. Regular kaming nakakapag-usap. Kanina magka-text kami. Masayang-masaya ako na nakauwi na siya," John Lloyd says.
Vhong was discharged from the hospital on Thursday, February 6, and went to the Department of Justice to submit his affidavit against Cedric and Deniece's camp.
