John Prats on Isabel Oli: She’s the one
John Prats feels happy his relationship with girlfriend Isabel Oli is going strong.
Although they became sweethearts only early this year, he has decided that it is Isabel he wants to settle down with.
“Yes, she’s the one,” John said in an interview at the press launch of the second season of the reality show “I Dare You” in ABS-CBN compound on Tuesday, October 8.
The Kapamilya actor-TV host shared that they have already discussed marriage. That’s why he knows she is ready to walk down the aisle any time. However, he clarified that he hasn’t popped the question yet.
“Yung engagement bawal pag-usapan at sorpresa ko sa kanya iyon.”
John is sure Isabel will make a good housewife.
“Siguro that's what I like about her. Hindi siya kagaya ng ibang artista ngayon na masyadong focused sa career, na 'Huwag na muna.' Maganda sa kanya kasi nakikita niya ang sarili niya to be a housewife.”
When does he see himself settling down with Isabel?
“Not really long, not really long,” John replied.
He adds that he has changed a lot since Isabel became his girlfriend. He became more content, more focused.
“Wala na akong ibang hinahanap, wala akong reklamo at mas focused ako sa work ngayon kasi alam ko nandiyan siya to support me. Never kong na-experience na hina-harass niya ako for time. Alam niya kasi na siguro ako yung lalaki eventually I will be the one who will be there financially for my family. That's why sobrang support niya sa akin.”
On hosting 'I Dare You'
John is excited over his new project, the second season of the reality show “I Dare You,” where he is one of the hosts along with Robi Domingo, Melai Cantiveros and Deniesse Aguilar.
According to them, the show’s second season will focus more on ordinary people’s real-life challenges. Different celebrities will take on the challenge.
Who are his dream celebrity guests?
“I want to see the Gonzaga sisters in a reality show, like kung paano sila mag-usap, magaway. I also like to see big stars like si Piolo, sila Diether, not just in dramas but in reality shows like this,” he replies.
“I Dare You” premieres this Saturday, October 12, after “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”
