John Spainhour is PH's Mister World 2014 representative

Fil-Am model John Spainhour is the country's representative to Mister World 2014, CQ Global Quest announced Thursday, May 29, at Glorietta 5 in Makati City.

The 26 year-old former U.S. military is leaving for England tomorrow, May 30, in time for the international pageant on June 15.

It was in 2012 when Filipino-British athlete Andrew Wolff won first runner in Mister World.

Prior to joining Mister World Philippines, John won the Century Tuna Superbods in April 2012.

The 6-foot-1 model was a trained sniper in the U.S. military and was assigned to Iraq for five years before he came to Manila in 2011.

CQ Global Quest, Inc., a Cory Quirino-led organization, is also the official licensee of Miss World Philippines.

 

 

Meanwhile, Filipino-Japanese-Persian model Sam Ajdani, was announced to represent the country in the U.K.-based pageant next year.

The 23-year-old model has been residing in the Philippines for 10 years now. He understands but hardly speaks Filipino.

"I am more than ready to accept the challenge and responsibility of being Mister World Philippines," the 6-foot-2 said during the official announcement.
