Jonas Akerlund to direct 'Lords of Chaos'
Swedish director Jonas Akerlund, well known for his work in music videos, is to direct the film "Lords of Chaos," it was announced Monday.
The film, which focuses on a teenage metalhead in Norway, is being produced by Ridley Scott's Scott Free London, RSA London and VICE, Protagonist Pictures will market the film to potential buyers at the Cannes Festival, reports Variety.
Rory Culkin, who starred in "Scream 4" and "Signs" and Caleb Landry Jones of "X-Men: First Class" and "Byzantium" have been selected for the principal roles.
The rest of the cast will be announced shortly, according to Variety.
