Julia Barretto on family feud: It’s gonna be okay
Star Magic newbie actress prefers to remain positive despite the controversy hounding her family.
“I’m gonna be the one to help them. It’s gonna be okay,” Julia said in an interview on TV Patrol on Wednesday, May 8.
Julia’s aunts Gretchen and Claudine reportedly don’t see eye to eye due to an exchange of negative messages online. Julia’s grandmother Inday, aunt Gia and uncle Joaquin also got involved in the fray.

The latest scandal involves Julia’s mother Marjorie, whose half-naked photos were posted online.

Super strong
“My mother is super strong. I admire her strength. We all know naman the truth. Wala, malalagpasan iyon”, Julia defended Marjorie.
In the same interview, Julia’s sister Dani shared that they are giving full support to Marjorie.
“Nung nakita, sobrang ‘whoah.’ Sino bang makakagawa noon sa Mommy ko? She talked to us. We just hugged her and we said, ‘Mom, we’re gonna get through this,’” Dani said.
As for the family feud which reportedly stemmed from her entry in showbiz, Julia says, “I wasn’t even aware of that, pero hindi ko maysado tini-take in iyon.”
