Jung Kyung Ho channels G-Dragon for new movie

G-Dragon is inspiring a character in a film.

The currently shooting movie Rollercoaster, stars Jung Kyung Ho as the hallyu star Ma Joon Kyu.

The actor’s agency recently tweeted, “Actor Jung Kyung Ho, who′s been filming with director Ha Jung Woo for Rollercoaster. Here’s a first-look at hallyu star Ma Joon Kyu.”

Included were a series of pictures of Jung Kyung Ho in between shooting for the movie.

Donning a wild outfit complete with a studded leather vest, sunglasses and green hair, Jung Kyung Ho was seen in character as the hallyu star.

Those who thought the style and look seemed vaguely familiar weren’t mistaken as director Ha Jung Woo revealed Jung Kyung Ho’s appearance was based on G-Dragon’s looks.

Ha Jung Woo shared, “We thought it would be fun to make the hallyu star Ma Joon Kyu’s appearance stylish like that of G-Dragon so we asked our stylists [to style Jung Kyung Ho like G-Dragon].”

Rollercoaster was directly written by actor Ha Jung Woo and also marks the first time he will be stepping behind the cameras as director.

The movie is also Jung Kyung Ho’s first movie role since being released from his military service in September.

Rollercoaster is aiming for a release in the latter half of 2013.
