Kathryn Bernardo is going to college
Young people, take note. Teen star Kathryn Bernardo is bent on going to college, even if she's busy with her showbiz career.
The Kapamilya actress shared that she take the entrance exam at Enderun Colleges in Taguig City this week. Kathryn is eyeing a certificate course on Fashion Marketing, which she said can lead to a bachelor’s degree.

Kathryn and her friends Julia Montes and Miles Ocampo wanted to take similar courses and enroll in the same school. But their conflicting schedules prevent them from doing so.
“Hindi ko alam kung ano ang mangyayari sa plan na iyan kasi inaasikaso pa rin nila yung sa kanila. So, yung sa akin muna yung mauuna. Dapat sana sabay-sabay,” Kathryn said at the make-over event of Procter & Gamble’s Ganda Trio brands Olay, Rejoice and Whisper on Tuesday, May 14.
Advice to teens
Kathryn advised teens to finish their studies and take education seriously.
“Yung education, iyon talaga ang kailangan nilang tapusin kasi malaking achievement kapag naka-graduate sila. Super importante ang education, hindi iyon makukuha ng kahit sino.”
She is flattered that many young people look up to her and her love team Daniel Padilla as role models. But she downplays the ‘idol’ tag, saying that they’re just like any normal teen.

“Thankful kami na isa kami sa mga naging inspiration nila. Hindi rin naman namin nilalagay sa ulo namin na inspiration nila kami, normal na tao rin kami na nagkakaproblem, may insecurities rin. Happy kami sa support rin nila.”
Kathryn’s personal role model is Iya Villania.
“Ever since bata ako, si Iya kasi natapos niya yung college niya. Ang bait niya in person, ang fun niya. Gusto ko ganoon rin ako years from now.”
