Keira Knightley: I may never marry

Keira Knightley has joked she might be "permanently" engaged.

The actress' fiancé rocker James Righton popped the question in May and although Keira is thrilled they are committed she isn't planning a wedding yet. The 27-year-old is petrified that her special day will be ruined by paparazzi desperate to get a glimpse of her in her frock.

"Maybe I'll be permanently engaged!" she laughed to Allure magazine. "We're total opposites. I know nothing about [music]."

Keira constantly hit headlines after she found fame in the 2002 movie Bend It Like Beckham. She was criticised for her slim frame and when things became too much she decided to take some time out.

The actress went travelling but was in no doubt that she would eventually find her way back to film making.

"I'd hit a wall and needed to step back in order to learn the things I needed to learn," she explained, adding why she decided to keep up with her profession. "There's clearly something in me that goes, 'No, actually, I know I've got something.'"

Although she's experienced tough times since making it, Keira is aware of how lucky she has been too. She has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, including Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Michael Fassbender and Sienna Miller. At times she sees no down side to her job.

"The people I've worked with! Having a successful career! It's absolutely, totally extraordinary, and I'm incredibly lucky! But... There isn't a 'but' really. That was it... I take that 'but' back," Keira smiled.
