Kenzo creates online art gallery experience

The Paris luxury brand has unveiled an interactive online gallery space starring models Grace Bol and Sang Woo Kim, with a physical location set to arrive during Paris Fashion Week this September.

We know Kenzo's Carol Lim and Humberto Leon love a real-life spectacle (just last month they sent their menswear models trudging across the Pont Alexandre III in Paris for a stunning show opening), but they're also fans of an immersive digital experience, as their latest project proves.

With the help of directors Partel Oliva and web/3D designers Kim Boutin and David Broner, they've concocted an online mystery featuring music by Fatima Al Qadiri.

The premise is simple: ahead of the 'Grace To The Nth Power' show starring Sudanese-American model Grace Bol, all but one of the artworks are stolen from the gallery, replaced with videos of the thieves at work. You can navigate the space using your browser or your mobile device. You can watch the films and explore the gallery, while also slipping into the 'gift shop' to purchase a selection of Kenzo ready-to-wear and accessories.

There will also be a real-life show held during Paris Fashion Week from September 24 to 26 at Galerie 12Mail.
