Kim Chiu reacts on viral photo with Gerald Anderson
"Ikaw Lamang" star Kim Chiu was surprised that her pictorial photo with former boyfriend Gerald Anderson went viral. The photo, taken from their recent endorsement, showed Kim and Gerald standing next to each other.
"Yearly may picture kami (for the endorsement). Hindi ko alam ngayon bakit, 'Anong nangyari?' Bakit ang dami (nag-share)? Taon-taon naman may ganito kami," Kim said during the press launch of the teleserye "Ikaw Lamang" on Wednesday, March 5.
Surprised fans
She added, "Siguro nabigla lang sila (fans). Hindi sila na-advise. Siguro naman ako, kung makakita ako ng picture ni Guy and Pip, 'Ay ang ganda!' Siguro nagulat sila."
Despite their past issues, Kim said there was no awkwardness during her photo shoot with Gerald because they have already matured.
"Siguro maturity na rin, ang tanda na namin para mag-arte-artehan. Hindi na bagay sa edad namin na umarte-arte. So, maturity, trabaho."
Kim is willing to work with Gerald again if a project comes along. However, she would rather focus on her new teleserye "Ikaw Lamang," where she teams up with Coco Martin for the first time.
"Pwede naman siguro, kasi nasa isang network lang kami. Pero ‘Ikaw Lamang’ muna ngayon. Yung concentration ko (ay) dito."
Viral video
When ABS-CBNnews.com got her reaction about the viral video of Maja Salvador and Sarah Geronimo hugging behind her, Kim said she is letting bygones by bygones. Kim had a falling out with Maja after the latter became Gerald's girlfriend. Sarah, for her part, was romantically linked to Gerald.
"Wala na 'yon and, of course, let's just call it maturity, trabaho. We are very happy na may work kami," Kim said.
She added, "Sa circle namin dito sa showbiz magkikita at magkikita, magsasama at magsasama and mag-uusap at mag-uusap kaming lahat."
Love team with Coco
The Kapamilya actress has mixed feelings over her new love team with Coco, whom she has worked with in other teleseryes.
"Nervous ngayon kasi bagong pair-up. Exciting naman siya kasi hindi ko alam kung paano susuportahan ng mga tao, sana suportahan naman nila. Nakakanerbiyos kasi magaling siya masyado. Binibigyan ka niya ng advice kung dapat ulitin."
