Reports of  the two stars’ damaged relations surfaced when the latter admitted going out with actor Gerald Anderson. Gerald is Kim’s ex-boyfriend.

In a taped interview aired on ABS-CBN’s showbiz talk show “The Buzz” on Sunday, March 10, Maja said she still values her friendship with Kim.

In a previous interview with Yahoo! Philippines OMG! and other members of the press,  Maja said she and Gerald are not yet a couple.

‘Paulit-ulit na lang’

Kim, on the other hand, is mum when asked to comment on Maja’s statement.

“Hindi ko po alam,” she told members of the press after the 29th Star Awards for Movies held at the AFP Theater in Quezon City on Sunday, March 10.

Kim has this to say about  working with Maja on “Ina, Kapatid, Anak”:  “Wag na lang po natin pag-usapan yan.

She maintains that the controversy surrounding her and Maja has nothing to do with their show’s success.

So ganun talaga ang takbo ng kwento,” Kim said.
