Showbiz has taken the backseat for three-month pregnant Kristine Hermosa since she decided to focus on husband Oyo Sotto and their two children.

Kristine shared that she can always go back to showbiz if the offer is good and the schedule will allow her to have time for her family.

"Wala naman problema if may magandang offer. But of course, hindi ko pwedeng i-sacrifice yung time ko for my family. Kasi masaya ako dito eh. For as long as okay yung schedule, yung story, lahat okay, no problem. I can always go back," Kristine said in an interview for the Victorious One Trail Bike Challenge on Sunday, April 27.

Her last teleserye was "Noah" in 2010.

Wish list

Kristine wants her comeback project to have something to do with action.

"Gusto ko talaga action. Kaya lang sa iba ako lagi nalalagay."

She added, "I did hosting too before. Ang dami ko ring mga noontime shows at iba pang hosting gigs. Action na lang ang hindi ko pa nagagawa."

Kristine shared that she always consults Oyo, whom she married in 2011, whenever she has acting offers.

"Kasi asawa ko siya, he has to know. Meron siyang power to say, like 'Hindi pwede ito.' Siyempre wisdom iyon ng guy, we have to respect that."

Making people happy

Does she plan to return to showbiz right after giving birth?

"We're really not sure. As long as kaya sa schedule talaga and hindi siya makakasagabal. Kung okay lahat, game ako. I'm so into work."

She admits missing showbiz a lot.

"Nakakamiss pasayahin ang mga tao. Nakakamiss na kapag nalalaman ko na nagugustuhan nila yung palabas na ginagawa ko for them."

Among Kristine’s hit teleseryes are  "Pangako Sa'yo," "Sana'y Wala Nang Wakas" and "Dahil May Isang Ikaw."

Biking advocacy

She also misses working with different celebrities. Among those she has worked were Jericho Rosales, Piolo Pascual and Jodi Sta. Maria.

"Kapag nagiging successful yung show and you get to meet other celebrities, yung mga actors and actresses, nagiging close mo pa sila,"  Kristine said.

Marriage and motherhood have changed Kristine’s life.  She doesn’t get to see fellow celebrities  anymore because she's busy looking after her family.

"Iba yung may family. Iba rin yung joy."

Kristine used to bike with Oyo before she got pregnant. This is why the couple  organized Victorious One Trail Bike Challenge with friends.

"We didn't expect naman na we would join biking, mountain biking. Recently, nadiscover namin iyon na wow, we're enjoying this sports pala. Exciting kasi ano naman kaya ang susunod?" she said.
