'Laura Croft: Relic Run' gets global launch
The mobile endless runner game featuring the first lady of video gaming is now available to download for Android and iOS.
Initially given a soft launch in the Netherlands in April, the free-to-play title has now been launched much further afield by Square Enix.
The Tomb Raider-tinted take on the adventure runner style game popularized by the success of titles like "Temple Run" will feature in-app purchases to help players advance more quickly. However, early demos suggest that it should be sufficiently rewarding to play without resorting to buying coins for unlocking extra features or lives.
"Laura Croft: Relic Run" is available now on the App Store and on Google Play.
