The nonprofit that communicates noteworthy ideas has joined forces with US channel Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) for a six-night series of programming from the Manhattan theater district.

Called "TED Talks Live," the series courts the Broadway crowds and programming includes a selection of signature TED Talks in addition to gigs by entertainers including Adam Driver, Rufus Wainwright, Sebastian Junger and Sara Ramirez, Variety reports.

Former White House chef Sam Kass, film composer Paul Cantelon and singer-songwriter Angela McCluskey are also on the schedule.

Tickets for the events, scheduled for November, cost $100 each, although students and teachers are invited to apply for free tickets.

PBS will record the series and broadcast it in the spring, according to Variety.
