Louise on Enzo: We’re special friends

Yes, they’re dating. But they’re just special friends, not a couple.

This, Louise delos Reyes admitted before members of media at the presscon of “The Road” on Wednesday, Feb. 22.

Halos one year na kaming special friends,” Louise said.

No rush

But she is in no rush to have a formal relationship since Louise wants to take things one step at a time.

“Siguro po nag-level up in a way na nandoon na yung extra caring kami sa isa’t isa.

Louise and Enzo are no longer wary about being seen together in public. In fact, Louise said they can now openly go out on dates, dine out, and watch movies, which they always do when they’re free.

“Masasabi ko rin na oo, in a way nabago siya dahil dati medyo takot kami na makita, ‘Uy, spotted sila sa ganitong lugar.’ Mas open na kami ngayon. Tsaka, parang hindi na rin naman na kami bata para maglokohan,” she said.

Aside from career, what else is keeping Louise and Enzo from taking their relationship to the next level?

Afraid of commitment

“Ang kinakatakot namin is yung commitment sa isa’t isa. Sobrang nagi-enjoy lang kami on what we have na andyan ka para sa akin, andito rin ako if you need me.

Her special friendship with Enzo doesn’t mean Louse won’t entertain suitors anymore.

Sweet naman,” Louise said, smiling.

Is she worried Enzo might fall for another girl?

She added that they want to take things easy  since they want to devote their time and full commitment to each other once they become a couple.

Valentine surprises

She shared that Enzo surprised her with a bag, a pair of pants and a jacket--souvenirs from his Switzerland trip--last  Valentine’s Day.

“Habang nagri-rehearse ako (for “Party Plipinas”) nagsisigawan yung mga tao, meron pala siyang dalang bulaklak.

Louise is happy to be part of “The Road,” a thriller  directed by Yam Laranas and produced by GMA Films. It will be released commercially by Freestyle Releasing in mainstream American and Canadian markets beginning May 11. The film will also have a red carpet premiere  at the Mann Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, California on May 9.

“I’m happy na yung “The Road” na napansin nila for international release,” Louise said.

The Road also stars Marvin Agustin, Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, and Rhian Ramos.
