Lovi, Rocco to spend Holy Week in Europe
Although Kapuso artists Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino have been dating for months, but the actress wants to take her time before getting into a new relationship.
"Matagal na rin kaming friends. It's hard to jump into something kung matagal na kayong magkaibigan because things might go wrong kapag madaliin," Lovi told the press during the story conference of GMA's upcoming teleserye "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real" on Friday, March 28.
After a relationship that "didn't go so well," Lovi shared that it will take time before she opens her heart again.
"I haven't been in a relationship for quite some time. I guess you guys know naman what happened sa past relationship ko (with former Ilocus Sur representative Ronald Singson). Maybe it did affect me somehow. It was hard to cope from something that difficult. And it took some time for me to be able to open up a bit."
Exclusively dating
Admitting that she and Rocco are exclusively dating, Lovi said their special friendship has “leveled-up." The photos they post on social media prove that Lovi and Rocco have become open about showing affection for each other.
"Yeah, I'm happy. Nothing heavy. Everything's just right for me," she said.
Lovi always has good words for Rocco, whom she said also has a good relationship with her family.
"He's very sweet and very understanding, total opposite of me. He's very funny, the most important thing for me because I love to laugh. He makes me laugh a lot. He's very smart."
The two will be spending Holy Week in Europe to visit Lovi's sister.
"Tamang-tama mag-vacation muna before the show. I haven't had a real vacation in years. My sister invited him also. So, iyon nagkayayaan na kami since my sister is close rin naman to Rocco. And wala rin naman akong kasama sa Europe. So, it's nice naman to be with a lot of people."

Will they officially become an item after Europe?
"We'll see after that kung iyon na," Lovi said.
After her trip, Lovi will start shooting the new teleserye, which will also star Maricel Soriano and Dingdong Dantes. Lovi and Maricel will both play Dingdong's wife.
Lovi admits Maricel intimidates her, but she is able to relax because the seasoned actress is "very friendly."
"When we met for the first time, ang dami na naming napag-usapan. I'm thankful nga na she didn't make me feel na she's Maricel Soriano. I'm just glad with the fact that isa siya sa mga artista na I really look up to and I'll be working with her. That's the most special thing for me sa show na ito."
