Lovi Poe not ready for a new relationship
After getting out of a serious relationship “a few months ago,” Lovi Poe claims she is not ready for a new romance, even if fellow Kapuso star Rocco Nacino is said to have eyes only for her.
“Wala akong present (boyfriend),” she told reporters in an interview after the presscon of “Sana Dati,” the multi-awarded Cinamalaya film that will be shown commercially starting Wednesday, Sept. 25.
Lovi, who plays the lead role in the film, won’t admit rumors that she and Jake Cuenca used to be an item. All she says is that they are very close and that she finds him sweet for saying that whoever becomes her boyfriend is a lucky guy.
“Jake and I don’t get together that much. Hindi kami nag-uusap. We were close.”
What about talks that she is the reason why Rocco and Sheena Halili broke up?
“I don’t know,” was her short reply.
Lovi is so focused on work she admits not having suitors at the moment.
“Hindi ako ligawin,” she explained as members of the press who huddled around her all raised their eyebrows.
This means Lovi won’t mind being by her lonesome, now that she has moved to her new home in Quezon City, with her mom’s blessings.
