Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier launch their own label

Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier are set to become fashion's latest dream team with the launch of their new womenswear line Hillier Bartley.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs women's design director and creative director will be delivering to retailers from August and launching in fall, Women's Wear Daily (WWD) reports.

Being British, it is no surprise that the duo's collection is said to include plenty of classic English references, as well as being manufactured in the UK (although the bags will be made in Venice). The line will cover ready-to-wear clothing alongside bags and an accessories range, and the pair told WWD that the label has a "masculine elegance."

Earlier this month the pair were caught up in the headlines as it was announced that the Marc by Marc Jacobs line was set to be streamlined into the main Marc Jacobs label. However, according to reports the decision to launch their own label was made independent of this news.
