'Luna Blanca' Airs Final Episode

The journey of the mystical twin sisters Luna and Blanca finally comes to an end as GMA Network's first multigenerational drama concludes its run with a touching finale on Oct. 26.

"Luna Blanca," which aired for more than five months on the Telebabad block, features the most bankable Kapuso artists as they portray the characters of the twin sisters in their childhood, adolescent and adult years. Jillian Ward, Bea Binene and Bianca King played the role of dark-skinned Luna while Mona Louise Rey, Barbie Forteza and Heart Evangelista breathed life to the character of fair-skinned Blanca.

The series showcased the journey of the sisters in discovering their identities, family ties, first loves and first heartbreaks and, at the same time, in fulfilling their personal destinies.

This Friday, Rowena's (Lani Mercado) life is in danger after being held captive by Diego (Carlos Morales). And the only way to save Rowena and defeat Diego is the combined powers of the twin sisters. But, Blanca is still mad at Luna and refuses to make peace with her.

Will Blanca find it in her heart to forgive Luna and to join forces with her sister to kill Diego? Will Luna finally give way and accept Blanca and Joaquin's relationship?

"Luna Blanca" airs right after "Aso ni San Roque" on GMA-7.
