Mad Catz to co-publish 'Rock Band 4'

Video game peripheral maker Mad Catz has struck a deal to co-publish the hotly anticipated music game "Rock Band 4" on PS4 and Xbox One.

Under the new expanded agreement, announced on Tuesday, Mad Catz will oversee global retail sales, promotion and distribution while "Rock Band 4" developer Harmonix will handle downloadable sales and content.

Mad Catz is also working on new a new range of wireless guitar, bass, and drum controllers for "Rock Band 4," which will be released late 2015.

While this is not the first venture into publishing for Mad Catz, "Rock Band 4" is by far its highest profile title yet.
