Maegan names dad Freddie Aguilar’s girlfriend, calls his detractors ‘morons’
Freddie Aguilar’s anak, Maegan Aguilar, has come to her dad’s defense in the wake of negative reactions to reports that the legendary 60-year-old singer has a 16-year-old girlfriend and is thinking of marrying her.
“Dirty old man! Nakaka disappoint!” one commented about the report.
Maegan took the detractors head on and named her father’s girlfriend.
‘Anong problema niyo?’
“Mahigit na sa isang dekadang hiwalay si Tatay sa Nanay namin...6 kaming magkakapatid at sa tingin ko'y wala siyang naging pagkukulang bilang AMA sa amin. Lumaki kaming ‘independent’ and absolutely FREE FROM THE SHACKLES OF SOCIETY. None of us are LIARS or CORRUPT like most people around us. And Tatay dating ‘JOVI GATDULA’ is no problem to any of us at all, desisyon nilang dalawa yun-walang nagpilit sa kanila na maging sila...SO ANONG PROBLEMA NIYO? Kasi INAMIN NI TATAY? anung masama dun? Anung masama kung nagpakatotoo siya? Sige nga!” she wrote on her Facebook page.
In a follow-up comment, she posted: “BASAHIN NIYO RIN COMMENT KO SA TANGINATHIS! Sa mga gustong kumontra! sige humirit lang kayo dito sa wall ko...NOTHING YOU SAY WILL IMPROVE NOR RUIN OUR LIVES ANYWAY. E di wag niyong pakinggan ang ANAK- may magagawa ba yun? eh pillar na ng Pilipinas ang ANAK at ang ama kong si FREDDIE AGUILAR, wala na kayong magagawa para sirain siya...AT DAHIL LANG SA GF NIYA? HALERR!!! ANG TANGA TANGA NYO NAMAN!!!”
To someone who told her not to get stressed, she replied: “hindi ako mase-stress noh...I LOVE CALLING OUT MORONS!!! I like saying TANGA SILA KUNG TALAGANG TANGA SILA, it's actually relaxing, you should try it.”
Disappointed with fellow musicians
She also took issue with fellow musicians who reportedly cast a few stones themselves.
One commented in a report about Freddie’s girlfriend, “Forget cradle snatching... this is more like statutory rape or pedophilia! Disgusting!”
“Mas naba-bad trip ako sa post ng mga kapwa naming musikero...calling my dad sick, a pedophile etc etc. Parang hindi nila alam ang buhay na pinasok nila. Kung mga manong kayo, mga prude kayo, e kayo yun! Ang boring ng buhay niyo! Kayo ang lolo, hindi ang tatay ko!” she ranted.
Male detractors are losers, she tells Yahoo
In an exclusive message to Yahoo OMG, she wrote, “What's with the male musician losers who are so hypocritical about my tatay just because they couldn't land hotties for wives or even date lang! It's just too funny and I can't pass up not making patol!”
This morning, she also posted on her Facebook a photo of a Yoko Ono quote reading, “Some people are old at 18 and some are young at 90…time is a concept that humans created”
Meagan is now operations manager of Ka Freddie’s Bar on Tomas Morato in Quezon City.
She is also pregnant but that hasn’t stopped her from pursuing new projects as Meagan is one of the most powerful bluesy vocalists around.
“My schedule is not so busy right now...but I am cooking up a blues project soon with Sammy Asuncion (Spy, Kat Magic Express),” she told Yahoo OMG.
